Professional/Personal Background

Mike Moynihan was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.  He graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Mike has his Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 registrations as well as his Group 1 Insurance license.  In addition, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ which means he has extensive training in financial planning, estate planning, insurance, investments, taxes, employee benefits and retirement planning.  Keep in mind that roughly only 17% of all financial advisors in the industry can claim this distinction and commitment to high standards. 

Mike has worked in the financial services industry since September 1995, when he worked in the back office of First Command Financial Planning.  He began serving clients in January 1998 as an advisor and has been affiliated with Signal Securities, Inc. since January 2005.

Mike lives in Fort Worth with his wife Julie and his son and daughter.  They attend Doxology Bible Church, where Mike has led numerous Christian financial planning classes.  In his free time, Mike enjoys going on short-term mission trips,spending time at his ranch, playing golf, and visiting Major League baseball stadiums all over the country.
